A satellite team of only nursery to settle the differences between the three management
An Academy to obviate the risk of having to reduce the number of members of the youth sector. And a job of great diplomacy to try to overcome the different opinions on the construction of the new team.
Belluno, San Giorgio Sedico and Union Feltre continue to talk to each other, despite some discrepancies that emerged in recent days as we told you yesterday.
By the way, from what we learned yesterday, the companies would be quite convinced of one thing: either the merger is done all together, or almost certainly each one goes on on its own.
A sort of rejection as it transpired, namely that San Giorgio Sedico was ready to continue the operation with Union Feltre without Belluno. In short, the merger intends to try to bring it to fruition with great willpower, but a little bit begins to become the classic race against time, in which to bring forward a whole series of important issues on the table.
For example, it is essential to identify the role of general manager. At the moment Werner Seeber seems more oriented to accepting the position proposed by Trento, but the Belluno managers who are orchestrating the project still hope for a rethink.
ACADEMY
The problem of the youth sector could be close to a near solution. As mentioned, by merging three clubs into one, the number of competitive boys – Giovanissimi and Allievi – would be reduced to a third, being able to field fewer teams. Thus the solution through which an Academy would be created with the sports titles of Sedico is becoming more and more popular, thus allowing young people who are not part of the Elite and Experimental teams to take part in anyway competitive regional tournaments. In this way the risk of staff cuts would be reduced, thus avoiding disagreements with families and technicians who are already starting to ask some questions.
For the rest, the idea is to host the activities of the main nursery in Feltre and those of the Academy in Sedico, with the basic activity also located in Belluno.
COACHES AND MATCHES
Instead, we try to match the perspectives, figures and ambitions of the first team.
Renato Lauria is Belluno’s proposal regarding technical driving, while at San Giorgio Sedico he would not mind continuing with Luca Tiozzo, capable of leading the red and white to safety. Union Feltre, on the other hand, would not have particular requests, but did not veto Lauria, who has already worked in Feltre.
The goal is professionalism, to be understood within what time, and for this reason Feltre and San Giorgio Sedico would in fact be obliged to accept that the new club and the first team are based in Belluno.
From what has been learned, the intention is to mediate between those who see in the C a goal to be reached step by step and those who would prefer to speed up the times through which to try to win the championship. Some pieces fit together, others still don’t. The merger is still a little away from completion. And at worst, each in their own way. The next few days will be decisive.
