Seventeen years old, a lot of passion and a lot of self-sacrifice, are the characteristics of Graziella Schininà, the athlete from Ragusa who is shining in the boxing firmament.
A love born when she was little when, following her father Emanuele in the gym, she began to take her first steps in this discipline. Year after year, Graziella grows and perfects herself and so at 13 she competes in the first Italian championships, where she wins and gets noticed, so much so that two years later, she is called up to the national team.
She made her debut at the European Championships, finishing second after beating Turkey and Ukraine.
Excellent results resulting from sacrifice and perseverance: “I train twice a day – says Graziella – early in the morning before going to school and late in the afternoon after doing my homework”.
Discipline and preparation that allowed her to win the Dracula Open tournament in Romania a couple of weeks ago and which will take her to the European Championships which will be held in Croatia starting from next April 2nd and during which all of Ragusa, and also the rest of Italy, will be rooting for her.
