FC Sion with ÖFB team goalkeeper Heinz Lindner is relegated from the Super League after 17 years, Stade Lausanne-Ouchy takes its place in the top Swiss football league.
In the relegation second leg, the third-placed team in the Challenge League won 4-2 against the bottom team in the Super League on Tuesday evening. Sion had already lost the home game 0:2. Lindner missed both games because of cancer.
Yverdon and Lausanne-Sport had previously been promoted to the Super League, which will be expanded to twelve teams in the coming season.
