Riccardo Mascarini, Cremonese tennis player who defends the colors of Canottieri Ticino is the winner of the Open tournament, limited to 2.3 classified, played on the courts of the Pavia Tennis Club and valid as the third edition of the “Vincenzo Aguzzi” memorial. Mascarini (2.3) seeded number one of the event, won the success by beating the number one of the scoreboard, Giulio Colacioppo (2.3) of the Circolo Tennis Lanciano, with a score of 6-3, 6-4. In the semifinal Mascarini had beaten the home player of Tc Pavia Federico Valle (2.4) with a double 6-4 in a very balanced match. The other semifinal was also fought in which Colacioppo got the better of the Ligurian Tommaso Metti (2.4) with part-time scores of 7-5, 7-6. Altogether 93 tennis players at the start of which 22 classified second category. On the other hand, a rodeo return was hosted on the courts of the Stradella Tennis Association and saw the victory of the promised Giovanni Enrico Boi, Motonautica Pavia, regional Under 13 champion, as well as provincial U14. In Stradella, Boi beat the most experienced clubmate of the Amp, Alberto Pisani, in the final (both finalists are classified 3.4). –
