Mister Castellazzi confirmed Superga wants a rematch

The curtain has risen on the new season of Superga which, in the next championship, will play again in the Second category. On Friday the team – still entrusted to Mr. Norberto Castellazzi – was presented and the evening was the occasion to officially open the new season.

In recent years, Superga has had a steady growth in terms of results and in the recently concluded season has hit the playoffs, even overcoming the first round of the play-offs against Casarile and then being eliminated in the second round against Certosa.

The company’s goal now is to continue on the path of continuity and to do so the first step was the confirmation on the bench of the coach Norberto Castellazzi who will therefore continue to coach the team.

On Friday evening the new signings were presented: they are the defenders Samuele Taverna and Antonio Giannetta and the midfielder Gianni Cassini. Instead, only two departures: Baratto and Rota left the team, the latter moved to San Giorgio.

«But our market is not finished yet – underlines the manager of Superga, Angelo Argenton -. To complete the squad we are still looking for a goalkeeper and another young player to be included in the squad at the disposal of Mr. Castellazzi ».

A young but ambitious team that wants to try to stay at the top in the next Second category championship.

«The goal is to participate again in the playoffs – concludes Argenton -, we want to take back what was taken from us this year and in the boys, already on Friday at the presentation, I saw so much hunger and desire for revenge. It is the right attitude and I am confident in the possibilities of this group to do well ».

Superga will meet on Saturday 20 August under the orders of Mr. Norberto Castellazzi to start training and thus arrive in the best possible way at the first official commitments of the new season and above all at the debut in the league. –
