Last round in Serie D. At 4 pm Montebelluna plays in Caldiero with the aim of winning at least one point to save himself immediately. What is certain is that today for Monte (38 points) there will be no relegation verdict: in the worst case, in fact, the Biancocelesti would be hooked by Virtus Bolzano (penultimate at 35) and a subsequent play-off on neutral field would be needed if the ‘Union Feltre (38) did not lose.
To avoid the play-off, Fabbian and his teammates therefore need a tie. Bolzano hosts San Giorgio Sedico, already saved, while Union Feltre is in Campodarsego against another opponent already saved. If, on the other hand, a trio were created at 38, Montebelluna would be saved thanks to the best detached classification, and the Belluno and South Tyroleans would go to the playoff. Francesco Bordin, however, does not want to make calculations: «We prepared the game in a proactive way to save ourselves immediately, without depending on the results of others. With humility and respect we will try not to do a waiting race. The boys trained well, I told them that I take the victories of Feltre and Bolzano for granted, so it depends on us », warns the Biancoceleste coach, who made his debut a week ago by bending Adrese.
«Someone is hurt but they are all available, given that Zago and Cattelan return from disqualification. I will choose the formation only in the last hours.
