The girl from Santa Giustina has just returned from a good season in biathlon.

Archived the biathlon season, which saw her conquer her first individual podium in the Italian Cup, as well as climb twice on the team podium (title in relay and bronze in the single mixed relay with the Fiamme Oro), Laura Mortagna is ready for the roller ski season.
The girl from Santa Giustina, who won the Junior World Cup in 2019, will be the reference of the Youth National team, made official in recent days by the Italian winter sports federation. In short, a season also in the sense of responsibility.
With her there will be the Lazio liceo Bachmann of Tarvisio Maria Gismondi while among the boys the blue will be Aksel Artusi (Sporting club Livigno), Marco Gaudenzio (Bachmann), Samuele Giraudo (Valle Stura), Giovanni Lorenzetti (Carisolo) and Riccardo Munari, Treviso of the Ski College Veneto in Falcade.
National A is made up of brothers Emanuele and Francesco Becchis (Entraque), Luca Curti (Orsago), Michael Galassi (Orsago), Jacopo Giardina (Team Futura White Fox), Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero (Valdobbiadene), Matteo Tanel (Team Robinson), Michele Valerio (Carisolo), Anna Bolzan (Orsago) and Elisa Sordello (Entraque).
Four athletes “observed”: Alessio Berlanda (Team Futura White Fox), Gianmarco Gatti (Valle Anzasca), Chiara Becchis (Ski Avis Borgo Libertas) and Sabrina Borettaz (Ammis de Verrrayes). The technical director is Michel Rainer while the manager in charge is Emanuele Sbabo. The technical staff also includes Solange Chabloz (women’s team coach), Marco Ripamonti (materials technician), Anna Rosa and Flavio Becchis (technicians), Antonio Ruggiero (physiotherapist) and Marta Fontana (nutritionist).
This is a very important season for roller skis since last year was completely lost due to the health emergency linked to the Covi-19.
The highlight of the season will be the world championships that will take place in Val di Fiemme (Trento) from 16 to 20 September.
The first appointment of the national season is scheduled for the weekend of 12 and 13 June between Amatrice and Rieti, where a sprint and a mass start in free technique valid for the Italian Cup will be disputed.
The mass start will be valid for the absolute Italian title.
Two national events in the province: Sunday 3 October in Feltre for the very classic Grand Prix Sportful, Sunday 10 October in Cortina where a mass start in free technique valid for the Italian Cup will take place. –
