Milan, 15 January 2022 – Mourning in the world of Italian fashion. He died stylist and entrepreneur Nino Cerruti. He was 91 years old and died in Biella, where he was born. Born on 25 September 1930 into a family of textile industrialists, Cerruti inherited the business at the age of 20 when his father died in 1950. In 2000 he was named Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Republic.
“The death of the manager and designer Nino Cerruti pains me a lot: with him a giant of Italian entrepreneurship leaves and a significant piece of Biella history. I will always remember him with affection and esteem, for his intuitions, competence and foresight with which he made Italian fashion great, exporting our made in Italy to the world “.
