Last hours of vacation for the Nutribullet Treviso Basket. Friday morning at the Sant’Antonino gym there will be the meeting of the new (half) roster set up this year by Gracis and Menetti. It is always an important moment in the season of a team: we meet again, we begin to get to know old and new and test the potential, in short, we begin to work to present ourselves in the most form possible to the official activity, which compared to the usual championship, Supercoppa and (hopefully) Coppa Italia, in addition, this year will have the great news of the “bubble” at Palaverde, in which they will fight to enter the main Championships program.
In truth, the meeting on Friday will be preceded by two events (behind closed doors, everything will be live on facebook): the first is tomorrow at 5 pm press conference of the president Paolo Vazzoler, of the sporting director Andrea Gracis and of coach Max Menetti. It will naturally serve to take stock of the market, explain the reasons for arrivals and departures, illustrate objectives and potential. After the ritual group photo, the group will reach the center, where the fans will certainly be waiting for it, then have dinner at La Terrazza in San Tomaso.
The second is scheduled for the following day at 9 and is called Open Day: players will be subjected at various levels to accurate physical and medical tests related to their respective performances. It is an initiative conceived by TvB in collaboration with the partner companies of the Performance Project, directed by Professor Francesco Cuzzolin, director of performance of TVB. Participants: Sensor Medica (posture and biomechanics), PharmaNutra (nutritional supplements and innovative medical devices), Emotion Energy (rehabilitation pants), Capello Centro Vista (ophthalmologist), Kiné Rehabilitation Center (orthopedics / rehabilitation), Tonus (foot laboratory, insoles ), Anima Genomics (genomics, DNA tests), Casa di Cura Giovanni XXIII (blood tests).
Finally, from 10.30 onwards the whole team will be available to the media. Then the series of training sessions will begin, interspersed with a couple of friendlies, yet to be confirmed, on 25 and 30 August. In the official season, as is well known, Nutribullet will debut with the Super Cup, anticipated to avoid the concomitance with the Champions League. It will start when usually in the past there were still friendlies or pre-season tournaments: Friday 3 September at 9 pm debut with Napoli Basket, 5 September at 5 pm Brescia-Treviso; Tuesday 7 September at 6.30 pm Treviso Basket-Brescia; Thursday 9 September at 9 pm Treviso-Napoli Basket. After that, TvB will go up the week from 16 to 21 September, to work in a now familiar location, Domegge di Cadore. Finally, the concentration of Champions at Palaverde: it will begin on Monday 13 September with the match against the London Lions, the other match will see Belfius Mons-Hainaut-ZZ Leiden. Wednesday 15 September Bakken Bears-Nutribullet-London Lions and Tsmoki Minsk-winning between Belfius Mons-Hainaut / ZZ Leiden.
