A fan from the stands hurled a racist insult allegedly aimed at Denzel Dumfries, Inter’s Dutch defender, calling him a “monkey”. Not far away is another fan, a young YouTuber who believes in the Nerazzurri who hears the epithet while he is filming a video and scolds him. “But what’s on your mind?”, he says to the fan who tries to justify himself but then falls silent. The video has gone viral in the last few hours, initially relaunched by Gazzetta dello Sport.
Dumfries, Qn recalls today, in a Lazio-Inter match in 2021 he was subjected to howling by a fan of the Capitoline team, then banned from the stadiums with a Daspo for life.
Apparently, the newspaper writes, the rossoblù club did not receive any reports from the stewards who manned that sector of the stands and did not take further steps.
