China’s Song Zhaoxiang has made his mark in the Asian qualifying competition for the Taekwondo event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The competition, held in Tai’an, Shandong, saw Song Zhaoxiang defeat Chinese Taipei’s Li Meng’en in straight games in the men’s 80kg and above semi-finals, securing the Chinese team’s qualification for the prestigious event.

With a strong performance in the morning round, Song Zhaoxiang showcased his skills in the semi-finals, outplaying his opponent with impressive front leg techniques and strategic tactics.
