The Crl “vademecum” on anti-Covid prescriptions and obligations, but doubts remain for quarantines and postponements of matches

PAVIA. A little more than a month after the start of the amateur championships (Sunday 19 September) and twenty days from the first official matches of the Italian Cup and the Lombardy Cup (Sunday 5 September), the Regional Committee of the NLD has released a sort of vademecum to refresh the memory among the members on anti-Covid prescriptions and rules to be scrupulously respected, while many teams have already started the preparation and have tried their hand at the first seasonal friendlies, and others are preparing to do so in these days.

Let’s see them, then. Within 48-72 hours before the rallies, an initial screening of players and staff is required, with swab / rapid test, second swab one week after the first; self-certification and, obviously, the sports fitness certificate are also required. The rules are valid for the categories from Excellence to the Third category, as well as for juniors, students and very young people. On vaccinations, the orientation varies from company to company. Remaining with the provincial clubs of Excellence, Varzi has imposed vaccination on its members, Vogherese and Accademia no, but the majority of the players in the first team squad are vaccinated.

In outdoor facilities, such as fields and football stadiums, a capacity of 50% in the white area is allowed, up to a maximum of 5 thousand spectators, 25% in the yellow area up to 2,500 spectators; in those indoors, a capacity of 35% and up to 2500 spectators in the white area, 25% and a thousand in the yellow area; for access you need a valid Green pass, or certificate of recovery from Covid not more than six months old, or even rapid swab performed in the 48 hours preceding the event.

The Crl awaits answers from Rome on a series of questions in view of the championships. The main ones: remains the obligation of quarantine in case of positivity in the team groups and what procedure should be applied for the postponement of matches?
