Barcelona Unveils New Shirt with Karol G Logo for LaLiga EA Sports Classic
The official shirt that Barcelona will wear in the LaLiga EA Sports classic against Real Madrid on April 21 at the Santiago Bernabéu has been officially announced. The shirt will feature the logo of Colombian artist Karol G, replacing the Spotify logo on the front of the Barça jacket.
According to the EFE agency, “The representative thorny heart of the Colombian artist will replace the Spotify logo on the front of the Barça jacket in the duel against Real Madrid.” Additionally, Karol G’s emblem will also be featured on the women’s first team shirt for the F League match against Villarreal this Saturday at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
This is not the first time Barcelona has made such a decision for important matches. In previous classics, the team had the logos of artists such as Canadian singer and songwriter Drake, Spanish artist Rosalía, and the Rolling Stones.
The Karol G logo will be featured on two exclusive editions of the shirt: 1,899 limited units and 22 with the signature of starting players from both the men’s and women’s teams. Fans can purchase the shirt on the official Karol G website, as well as other merchandise like sweatshirts, scarves, hats, and water bottles.
