CASTELLAMONTE
Starting next February 2022, Castellamonte will participate in the national phase of the Italian five-a-side football cup reserved for C1 clubs, after having won the Piedmontese trophy last Sunday (6-3 in the Top Five).
The club chaired by Cinzia Sicilia won the title for the second time, after the success in 2016 (7-2 at Futsal Savigliano). In that season, in the national phase, Castellamonte was eliminated in the first round. The Canavese players then coached by Pippo Credro drew 2-2 away with goals from Granata and Abelini, only to lose at home by 3-4. Under 0-3, they were tied with Martinez and Khanani’s brace, but in the final they suffered the goal of Porceddu’s defeat. –
