In men’s C the Spes coached by Furmenti will find Treviso. In Serie D only two Belluno among the boys and the Spes among the girls

There will be only one derby, the women’s Serie C one between Sedico and Feltre, in the regional volleyball championships.

Fipav Veneto yesterday afternoon published the groups of the men’s and women’s championships of series C and D.

Men’s Serie C. Spes Belluno (the team coached by Zoris Furmenti and composed largely of former Da Rold Belluno players) will compete in group B together with Bolzano Vicentino, Lupi rossi Padova, Cus Venezia, Volleyball Padova, Cus Padova, Team club San Donà, Legnago, Treviso (this will be the only “derby” within the confines of the Treviso-Belluno committee), Castellana, Povolaro and Eagles.

Women’s Serie C. Sedico and Feltre have been included in group A, where they will compete with Medovolley, New Vicenza Est, Olympia, Polisportiva Qui Sport (training from Rovigo), San Martino (Veronese), Clodia, Colombo and Bremas.

In group C, on the other hand, Volley Limana will compete. The team of coach Damiano Ortolan will find on its way Imoco, Bassano, Team volley 2007, Castel D’Azzano, Cadoneghe, Annia, Pool volley, Union volley and Altavilla.

Men’s Series D. The young Volleyball Belluno (led by Andrea Salvadego and formed by the children of the Spes nursery) will play in group A against six Treviso women (Motta, Kosmos, La Piave, San Biagio, Olympo and Montevolley), three from Padua (Valsugana, Astra and Loreggia) and two Venetian (Terraglio and Portogruaro).

Women’s Serie D. Spes Belluno (in turn in group A) will be part of a grouping entirely made up of clubs from Treviso (Aurora Vittorio Veneto, Vidor Moriago, San Vendemiano, Codogné and Cappella Maggiore) and Venetians (Fossalta, Fusion team, Miranese, Scorzé, Terraglio and San Donà).

All the groups have twelve teams with the exception of the women’s Serie C in which, in each group, there are only ten formations.

For the highest regional category, the groups were composed according to the guiding criterion of the ranking, that is, based on the positioning in the past season.

For the D series, however, the subdivision mainly takes into account the geographical proximity between the various formations.
