Double triangular Sunday in Danta and Auronzo di Cadore with the presence of the Keralpen. Success went to the formation of Venezia

Two triangular women’s football (one dedicated to youth teams, the other to the first teams) between Auronzo and Danta to defeat violence against women and bullying.

Venezia Fc won the 2nd DoloMitike trophy played in Danta, among the top teams of Keralpen Belluno (which plays in Excellence), Tavagnacco (Serie B) and Venezia (Serie C). In the final, the arancioneroverdi beat Tavagnacco 1-0 thanks to a goal scored in the last minutes by Alice Zuanti.

In the two previous games, Tavagnacco had the better of Keralpen (7-0) who then had to give up against the Venetian team (5-0).

Previously, in the morning, in Auronzo, another triangular had involved the Under 15 teams of Keralpen Belluno, Tavagnacco and Maerne.

The moment of greatest importance, however, was experienced right at the end of the races, when the girls met some policewomen from the Belluno police station. The meeting served to raise awareness among young footballers on the issues of violence against women, bullying and domestic violence. The day was also attended by the president of the regional FIGC Giuseppe Ruzza, the vice-president Roberto Mamerti and the provincial deputy delegate of Belluno Manuela Boito who, at the end of the afternoon, presented the cup to the captain of Venezia Alessandra Nencioni and awarded referees and athletes. The review of women’s events was promoted by the Municipality of Auronzo together with the E20 agency.

“I thank the organization of DoloMitike and the Municipality of Danta for this opportunity”, underlined Manuela Boito, “which especially for the girls of the youth teams was an opportunity to re-experience the field after the long period of stoppage caused by Covid”.

“We were thinking of faster growth in women’s football, especially after the 2019 World Cup, but the numbers in Veneto are still good, so much so that the balance of membership is positive this year,” added the president of the Venetian FIGC Ruzza. “The province of Belluno is suffering from those logistical difficulties that make it difficult for girls to travel to the training camps.”
