Appointed by the Board of Directors in view of the tenders for the renewal of hydroelectric concessions
Giuseppe Argirò, 52, is the new CEO of CVA SpA. He has a degree in economics and commerce, has held managerial and executive positions in private and publicly owned companies and was a manager in Confindustria.
Argirò “will bring to CVA an important set of strategic skills, particularly in the field of institutional relations and authorization processes”, says the company’s president, Marco Cantamessa. His appointment “will allow CVA to follow with the utmost attention those activities of relationship with institutions at national level which are decisive in this period of regulatory changes such as the rules that will be established for tenders for the renewal of hydroelectric concessions”.
For his part, the new CEO of CVA announces that he wants to make “my experience available in order to guarantee a contribution to seize the opportunities and overcome the challenges that await us. Also aware of the value of the team that welcomed me, which is certainly responsible for a positive part of the path made by the Group, I am sure that we will work in very strong synergy and integration ».
