We are at the third model of the new generation of Pirelli Walkarounds by Tecnorib, born in 2020 and which has already seen the debut of the 42 and 35 models. The Pirelli 50 has been launched, an uncompromising flagship measuring 15 meters in overall length and 4.70. wide. It best expresses the very concept of walkaround, which literally means “walk around” and identifies boats with a central console and a cabin below deck. Above all, it offers versatility in use, from the quick exit for a swim offshore to medium-range cruises and the role of tender for superyachts. It has already hit the mark: all production in 2022 and part of 2023 has already found a buyer. Ready to pay at least half a million euros.

AVANGUARD Hull

The Pirelli 50 is a small technical jewel: the double-step hull is once again signed by the Swedish studio Mannerfelt Design Team, historical partner of TecnoRib, which designed it to combine the highest level of stability and performance. The helm station with multifunction display has three seats and has been designed in a raised position with respect to the rest of the deck to facilitate visibility. The engines are two 600 Hp Mercury Verado V12s that guarantee a maximum speed of 50 knots, but the shipyard offers the possibility to choose between different solutions up to a power of 1,800 Hp. The taut lines of the tubulars and the clean cuts of the deckhouse are softened by the sinuosity of the hard top and the aft section of the headboard. The external layout allows great freedom of movement, thanks to the creation of a single central block which also incorporates the forward sundeck, leaving a passage ahead unobstructed. Safety and aesthetics are combined in the perimeter walkway, protected by the bulwarks and served by a handrail only slightly perceptible from the outside view.

GRANDE COMFORT

The search for performance did not condition the designers to work for maximum passenger comfort, fourteen at the most. The large aft sundeck is equipped with a pantograph backrest in order to serve both the sundeck and the dining area and another one has been placed in the bow. Behind the first solarium is the dinette with an extendable table on both sides. The bar / kitchen area, covered by the continuation of the hard top, has a cabinet that includes a sink, a hob with induction burners, three refrigerators and an ice-maker. The black dashboard has three seats, with folding elements to choose the best seat. Five steps lead to the generous lower deck: a contemporary design environment for two double cabins, one with a double bed in the bow and one with twin beds in the stern. Both have wide-depth wardrobes and large spaces for stowage and galley while the portholes provide considerable brightness. A bathroom completes this area. In short, you sail fast and comfortable as it should be in a flagship.
