The 44 children of Malanhua Choir are from Malan Village and surrounding villages in Chengnanzhuang Town, Fuping County, Hebei Province. At the entrance of the village, there was a display of children’s performances in Beijing, and a banner that read “Warmly Welcome Malanhua Choir back with honor” was hung.
11-year-old Xi Qingru is the main member of the Malanhua Choir. When meeting with reporters, Xi Qingru was actively preparing for the closing ceremony performance. “With the experience of the opening ceremony, we will not be so nervous, and the effect should be better.”
