Excellent expedition to Danish land of the Italian national team of Mounted games (a specialty of horse riding) at the European championships in Vallensbaek, which took place from 12 to 20 July.
Also present in Denmark were some members of the J&G La Scuderia di Cavaglià equestrian center, who brought home a gold, a silver and a bronze.
The gold medal ended up around the neck of coach Stefania Trinelli, who led the under 12 team up to the top step of the podium, as she herself says: “It was a great source of pride to be able to lead this category at conquer the first podium – explains Trinelli -. I publicly thank the Amazons Maria Vittoria D’Aloisio, Alberto Campiani, Elena Core, Federico Alpigiani and Camilla Di Rienzo for the excellent race held and the gold medal won with great merit, given the efforts made both in training and during proof”.
The J&G La Scuderia di Cavaglià equestrian center also obtained a silver medal, thanks to the second place, in the under 18 category, by Sara Vittoria Falco, seventeen year old from Cavaglià, student at the Gramsci scientific high school in Ivrea.
Finally, a third medal also arrived, this time in bronze. Edoardo Leoncavallo, 21, also from Cavaglià, had to settle for third place in the Open category, a professional instructor at the J&G La Scuderia equestrian center.
Still on the subject of the amazons of the equine facility in Cavaglià, she was unable to get on the podium, but Matilde Peila, 15 years old from Borgofranco d’Ivrea and attending the Gramsci scientific high school, did not manage to get on the podium anyway, closing the test in the under 18 in fourth place.

But now it is time to think about the next races, which will already be at the beginning of August and more precisely from Wednesday 4 to Saturday 7 August in Le Bonde, Normandy (France), where Sara and Edoardo will take part in the world championships reserved for the under categories. 18 and Open. Also in this case – continues Trinelli – as happened in Vallensbaek in Denmark, they will be riding the two ponies, respectively of Kinnock Dexter for Sara and Hondu Kristabell for Edoardo.
