PEDAVENA
The third category tennis tournament in Norcen was won by Tomaso Trevisson of Pederobba and Giorgia Spolaor of the Green Garden in Venice. Thus ends the event organized by Tc Norcen and in which 71 tennis players took part, also coming from outside the region. Trevisson (3. 2), seeded number 3 in the scoreboard and who in the final won 6-1 6-1 Tiziano Zonta (3. 4) of Bassano, won the men’s draw. In the round of 16 Davide Fancon del Malo had the better of 3. 4, then in the fourths success on the same category Giovanni Vedove Fiorese of Bassano and finally in the semifinals on Luca De Bona (3. 4) of Belluno. Instead Zonta beat the surprising 4nc Juan Jose Del Rio Y Rivero of Norcen in the thirty-second, Francesco Bortot (3. 3) of Belluno in the round of 32, Lorenzo Bortolaso (3. 2) of Bassano in the round of 16, seeded number 1 in the quarter-finals Marco Longi (3. 1) of Belluno after the retirement of the latter on 1-1 and with Zonta ahead 8-4 in the third set. Finally, the semifinal was not played with the injured Umberto Costa (3. 2) of Volpago.
For women, Spolaor (3. 3) of Green Garden celebrates, winning in the decisive match 6-2 6-1 over Sofia Mario (3. 2) of Corno Tennis. Both, seeded number 2 and seeded number 1 respectively, had started from the semifinals in which they had come out unscathed from the clashes with Ingrid Bortoluz (3. 4) of Norcen and Claudia Campana (4. 1 of Bassano).
