The San Leonardo hill, a mythical place that saw the birth and growth of the talent of Daniele Pontoni, today the blue technical commissioner, will host the tricolor competitions of each category from 7 to 9 January: on Friday 7th the master amateurs will be on stage; Saturday 8 beginners and students, while Sunday 9 the protagonists will be juniors, under 23s and elites. The route measures 2.6 kilometers, with 34 meters of altitude difference: almost the entire route is on grass, following the classic circuit around the church, except for the starting part, on the provincial road that connects Basiliano to San Marco, where it is place the banner of departure and arrival. «A great commitment for our company – explained Michele Bevilacqua, president of Dp66 Giant Smp which organizes the event in collaboration with Varianese and the Mont di Bike off-road school – but also a great satisfaction in being able to organize such an important event.
