Time will be particularly unstable on eastern Liguria, Tuscany, Lazio, Umbria, Marche and Emilia Romagna, with showers at times strong especially on the Tyrrhenian side, in extension with the passing of the hours up to upper Campania. Some precipitation will also affect Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Sardinia; on the rest of the South the Nice weather, with rising temperatures thanks to the Libeccio winds. As for the name, it will be possible to speak in a very limited way of ‘white Christmas’: the flakes will fall on the Apennines starting from 1,700 meters, while the whitewashing will in fact be absent on the Alpine reliefs.
