A single market in the Balkans as in Tito’s time: Serbia, Albania and Macedonians agree, but with an eye to Europe

BERLIN – Extremists from all over, in ex Yugoslavia e Albania, they continue to hate each other and to burn the flags of rival states in the streets. As happened the other day in Tirana with the Serbian flag. But meanwhile in the Balkans, an eternal hotbed of tensions, rivalries and conflicts, an important step towards peace has been taken, which in the long run could also help the countries involved in their long march towards the coveted entry into the European Union.
