As already anticipated by the experts, to guarantee this new phase of atmospheric stability it is the advance of a vast high-pressure field, which is now expanding from the Atlantic towards Western Europe.
The latest updates of iLMeteo.it underline that Saturday will be back on the scene of the Azores anticyclone will give a more than discreet day, in which the sun will be the master especially in the North and Center. The only unstable notes will concern Sardinia and Sicily, which between afternoon and evening could deal with some short and sporadic precipitation. Overall, in the South the protection of the anticyclonic shield will be a little less energetic, thus leaving room for several cloud coverings (details at the bottom of the article), albeit in a dry context.
On the thermal side, meteorologists write that abundant solar radiation will favor a pleasant climate, with temperatures that in the central hours of the day can touch or even exceed 20 degrees. On the other hand, in the early morning it will be very cold, with minimal between 5 and 7 degrees in cities of the Center North such as Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence and Rome.
In second half of the weekend the script will remain more or less unchanged. The 3BMeteo site anticipates that Sunday 17 October we will still have “stable weather and mostly sunny in the North and in the Tyrrhenian regions”, while “a slight variability on the Adriatic regions, the South and the main islands, with some rains on South Sardinia, lower Calabria and especially in Sicily” will resist.
