2024 is a sort of year zero for padel after the merger between Premier Padel and World Padel Tour. There will no longer be two but a single international circuit, with a system structured in a similar way to the tennis circuit.
The season will start on February 26th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and there will be a lot of media coverage in Italy.
This year, the prestigious international professional padel circuit will feature 25 tournaments that will be played in 18 countries on 5 continents, for a season that will last 11 months, from February to December and which will end with the Premier Padel Tour Finals in Barcelona.
In 2024, Italy will host three tournaments: the Bnl Italy Major Premier Padel in Rome (at the Foro Italico from 17 to 23 June), the P2 in Genoa (absolutely unique, scheduled from 15 to 21 July) and the Milan P1 (Allianz Cloud, from 2 to 8 December).
The Pemier Tour matches will be broadcast on Sky and streaming on Now from 2024 to 2026, and on Supertennis on digital channel 64, free-to-air.
The international padel circuit, governed by the international federation (FIP) and promoted by the professional padel association (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) takes place over 4 Majors, 11 P1, 9 P2 and the Tour Finals.
On the occasion of the Premier Padel events, those who watch SuperTennis in streaming through the SuperTenniX website or platform, or via satellite, will see a different programming with exclusively tennis events.
Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV will also be available on digital terrestrial, a smart TV function that allows the viewer to access free additional content and to switch to SuperTennis 2 and follow programming dedicated to tennis when a program is being broadcast on Channel 64. padel tournament or vice versa.
