The standout player of the game was guard Xu Jie, who put on an impressive performance with 47 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. The fourth and final quarter remained highly competitive, with the point difference staying within a small margin. In the last 60 seconds, Xu Jie’s clutch free throws narrowed the gap, but it was Ge Zhaobao’s two successful free throws with just 17 seconds left that sealed the victory for Shanxi.

The starting lineup for the Shanxi team included Luan Licheng, Jia Hao, Xing Zhiqiang, Wang Ruheng, and Ge Zhaobao. Meanwhile, the Guangdong team started with Huang Mingyi, Xu Jie, Wang Xinkai, Zhang Hao, and Zhang Mingchi.
