Xu Jiekong scores 47 points as Shanxi narrowly beats Guangdong in CBA Summer League
In an intense and closely fought match, the Shanxi team secured a narrow victory over the Guangdong team, with a final score of 99-94. The standout player of the game was guard Xu Jie, who put on an impressive performance with 47 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. Additionally, five players from the Shanxi team scored in double figures, with 25-year-old Luan Licheng contributing 21 points.

The Guangdong team held a slim 1-point lead, with the score at 73-72.
The fourth and final quarter remained highly competitive, with the point difference staying within a small margin. In the last 60 seconds, Xu Jie’s clutch free throws narrowed the gap, but it was Ge Zhaobao’s two successful free throws with just 17 seconds left that sealed the victory for Shanxi.
