Pia Zerkhold and individual world champion Jakob Dusek won the silver medal in the mixed snowboard cross competition at the snowboard world championships in Bakuriani, Georgia, on Thursday. The two Lower Austrians only had to admit defeat to the British duo, bronze went to France. It was the first podium place for Austria in this competition and the eleventh medal at this World Championships.
