Ayaneo Launches Retro Series Mini PC AM02 Modeled After US Version of Nintendo Game Console
After the success of its Retro series mini PC product AM01, which was designed after the Apple Macintosh computer, Ayaneo has announced the launch of the AM02 model, inspired by the US version of the Nintendo game console. This new mini PC is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, offering higher performance compared to its predecessor, the AM01.
The AM02 mini PC comes with 16GB DDR5 memory by default, with the option to expand up to an additional 64GB capacity. The storage capacity will be equipped with a 1TB specification by default and can be expanded up to 8TB. Users can also choose barebone specifications without preset memory and storage capacity, and purchase SO-DIMM memory and M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD for installation.
One of the standout features of the AM02 is its 4-inch touch screen display, which can show the current weather, time, and other information, and can be used to adjust the volume or switch performance modes. The mini PC also supports Wi-Fi 6E wireless network connection and comes with a 45W high-performance four-copper tube cooling system.
In terms of connectivity, the AM02 includes 1 USB-C port, 1 USB-A port, 1 HDMI output, 1 RJ-45 network cable connection hole, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The system will run on Windows 11 64-bit home Chinese version.
The AM02 will be available for a starting price of US$500, with early bird pre-orders available at a price of US$440. In the Chinese market, it will be sold at a starting price of RMB 2,599. Additional control accessories, such as a controller, will need to be purchased separately.
The launch of the AM02 mini PC marks another innovative product from Ayaneo, offering a unique blend of retro design and high-performance technology.
