A new jazz trio, a new album, a new record label. “You Need Paper Trio” is the name of the project that the musicians Piero Delle Monache (sax), Michelangelo Brandimarte (bass) and Pierluigi Esposito (drums) will present today, at 5.30 pm, at the Ubik bookshop in via Firenze 220 in breaking latest news. Three musicians who have known each other since the nineties, when they attended the Pescarese Music Academy, who have often played together in different formations and a few months ago they decided to cement this friendship with a trio. The journalist Luigi Di Fonzo will interview them. On the first disc (actually a bottle opener magnet with a QR code that allows you to download the music) there are published and unpublished songs signed by Brandimarte and Delle Monache.
Finally, the record company Uncap Records will also be presented, born from an idea by Delle Monache who wanted to combine the icon and imagery of the vinyl record with the contemporary convenience of streaming.
