CD Projekt Collaborates with Amazon’s Luna Platform to Launch Cloud Gaming on GOG

CD Projekt, the developers behind popular game titles like “The Witcher” series and “Cyber 2077”, have announced a collaboration with Amazon’s streaming service platform Luna. This partnership will allow CD Projekt’s game platform GOG to begin deploying the cloud game market, giving users on Windows PC, Mac, Android, iOS, smart TVs, and Amazon Fire tablet devices the ability to play games in a streaming format.

Users will simply need to install the Luna application service and connect to the Internet in order to access purchased games on the GOG service platform that support streaming. They can utilize a Luna-compatible controller or use controllers from Xbox One or PlayStation 4 as well.

Initially, games that support streaming include titles from “The Witcher” series and “Cyber 2077”. Not all games on GOG will be compatible with Luna at the beginning, but more games are expected to be added in the coming months.

Games purchased through the Luna service will be accessible on the GOG service platform, with support for cloud synchronization of archives and achievement content.

This collaboration is set to roll out in regions where Luna services are available, such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. However, the feature is not yet available online at this stage.
