At CES 2022, the company’s vision of the future was presented with the elegant and modern XPS 13 Plus, designed with simplicity at its core. The design attracted attention and continues to do so today, with headlines calling it sleek, elegant, stunning, beautiful, and our favorite, referring to the design as “the future is here.”
A trio of laptops
This bold design changed the identity of the XPS brand forever. Now Dell is unifying the design across the XPS lineup, introducing new screen sizes with the XPS 16 and XPS 14, and revamping the XPS 13 Plus into the XPS 13. This trio of laptops shares elements that eliminate distractions and focus on productivity.
High-quality audio experience
The range is made from CNC machined aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3, and tone-on-tone colors (available in Graphite and Platinum). The striking and unconventional look has key components that they amplify the laptop experience. They feature a row of touch functions to easily switch between multimedia and function keys, a seamless glass touchpad with haptic feedback. As well as larger keycaps that provide a comfortable and smooth typing experience with every key press. The new portfolio boasts an exceptional audio experience starting with a quad-speaker design, support for Dolby Atmos immersive audio and 3D stereo surround from MaxxAudio Pro by Waves. Plus, the new 1080p FHD webcam offers crystal-clear video calls.

The line also offers new AI-enabled features, with AI acceleration built into the device thanks to Intel Core Ultra processors and experiences brought to life by Windows 11. Dell XPS 16, ideal for demanding workloads
Dell pioneered the art of designing narrow bezels to minimize device bulk and maximize screen size. Lei now presents the new 16 and 14 inch immersive screens. The new XPS 16 and XPS 14 offer more portability to XPS notebooks and place an emphasis on performance and design. XPS 16 is the frontrunner of the portfolio, with enhanced performance for demanding workloads. Dell XPS 14, balance between power and mobility
Combining performance, design and portability, XPS 14 is more light up 21% compared to the XPS 16. At the same time, it offers powerful performance to complete the most demanding tasks with ease. With optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs (up to the GeForce RTX 4050 GPU), you can edit and play high-resolution videos effortlessly. And with a long-lasting battery, it’s a laptop made to move.

AI, the new best friend
Artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) are driving the latest wave of innovation and unlocking new possibilities on the PC. It’s exciting to see PCs built with AI acceleration in the device, something we’ve talked about before, but let’s take it a step further. The new XPS portfolio, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, features an integrated AI acceleration engine with the addition of a neural processing unit (NPU). Sustainable from top to bottom
The company also continues its commitment to incorporating more sustainable materials into both its products and packaging. The new XPS family has the highest level of sustainable materials ever. Furthermore, for the first time the new XPS family is designed with recycled aluminum and low-emission aluminum, obtained from a renewable energy source. That is reduces the carbon footprint of this material up to 89%. Made from 100% recycled or renewable material, the packaging used to protect XPS notebooks brings us closer to achieving our ambitious 2030 sustainability goals. The new XPS family is EPEAT Gold registered and complies with EPEAT’s new climate criteria for achieve the EPEAT Climate+ designation. With the Climate+ designation, these notebooks have met industry best practices for decarbonization.
