Ferrari Announces 2024 GTO Heritage Tour to Celebrate 40th Anniversary
In honor of the 40th anniversary of the launch of Ferrari’s first supercar, the Ferrari GTO, the renowned Italian brand has announced the grand “2024 Ferrari GTO Heritage Tour.” Following the success of the Ferrari F40 Heritage Tour in 2023, this carefully planned event will take Ferrari GTO owners on a journey through the picturesque scenery of the Italian Dolomites from October 1 to 5, 2024.
The event will kick off in the stunning Lendina Valley, allowing participants to admire the natural beauty of the Dolomites as they drive towards their final destination in Maranello, the birthplace of Ferrari. The highlight of the tour will be a unique parade at Maranello’s iconic Fiorano circuit, where the power and aesthetics of the Ferrari GTO will be on full display, symbolizing the extraordinary heritage of Ferrari’s supercars.
The Ferrari GTO made its debut at the 1984 Geneva Motor Show and quickly became a classic with its powerful V8 turbocharged engine, Pininfarina-designed lines, and advanced composite material body. Paying tribute to the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO of the early 1960s, the Ferrari GTO was initially planned for a production run of 200 units but ended up with a final production volume of 272 units, showcasing its extraordinary charm and status.
