The British greentech startup Octopus Energy wants to gain one million customers in Germany by 2026.
The company, which came to Germany in 2019 with the takeover of the German startup 4hundred, was most recently valued at around 8 billion euros and is active in 18 countries worldwide with a total of 7.2 million customers.
In Germany, the company currently serves 400,000 electricity and gas customers with 400 employees.
