IKEA Expands Gamer-Centric Products with New Brännboll Range
IKEA is once again tapping into the growing gaming market, this time with a new range called Brännboll. Following the launch of its initial gamer-centric products, which received mixed reviews for being a bit cliche, IKEA is looking to make a more impactful statement with this new collection.
The Brännboll range consists of 20 items designed to help gamers create a comfortable and engaging setting when the game is on, while seamlessly blending into their home decor when the game is off. The collection includes seating furniture, storage solutions, and accessories that are easy to move around and use in different spaces.
Philip Dilé, IKEA product design developer, spoke about the inspiration behind the Brännboll range, stating: “With Brännboll, we embraced the idea that gaming is for everyone and belongs anywhere in the home. It’s about making it easy for people to create spaces that accommodate gaming, life, and everything in between. We want this series to encourage friends and family to join in, bringing joy and connection through a shared gaming experience.”
The range includes inflatable chairs, play stations, rugs, blankets, mouse pads, side tables, wall-mounted cabinets, and more, with seating being the focal point of the collection. Whether you’re a serious gamer looking to level up your setup or someone who simply enjoys gaming occasionally, the Brännboll range aims to cater to all gaming needs.
