Artisan Studios Releases New Classic JRPG, Lost Hellden
Fans of classic JRPGs have something to look forward to in the future with the release of Lost Hellden, a new game from Artisan Studios. The game boasts an impressive lineup of talent, including Takeshi Oga, known for his work on the Siren Series and Gravity Rush 1&2, and Hitoshi Sakimoto, the composer and audio director behind Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, and Unicorn Overlord.
According to the official description, Lost Hellden “plunges players into a time world where, despite its traditions, all citizens are forced at birth to be tied to one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Citizens must resist temptation or succumb and end up becoming something worse than death Monster. The story follows twin brothers Cyphel and Leht, whose ill-fated union ritual leads each other on a dangerous journey of self-discovery.”
The game is set for release in 2025 on PC and “game console,” with the assumption that it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and Switch 2. A demo is expected to be released this year, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.
For those who enjoyed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Persona 3 Reload, or Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Lost Hellden is definitely a game to keep an eye out for in the coming years.
