Apple’s Upcoming M3 Mac Mini Detailed in Geekbench Test Results
Since March 5, numerous test results for models labeled “Mac15,12” have been popping up on Geekbench’s benchmark database, revealing details about the highly anticipated Apple M3 Mac mini. These devices are said to be equipped with 8-core M3 processors, hinting at a powerful performance boost for the upcoming Mac mini.
The information released by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman last August suggests that the code name “Mac15,12” could be associated with the new generation of Mac mini devices. The recent test results shed light on the specifications of the “M3 Mac15,12” device, showcasing an M3 processor with a 4+4 core design and a base frequency of 4.05GHz.
Gurman’s predictions also indicate that the GPU segment of the device will boast a full 10 cores, promising impressive graphics performance. The RAM specifications of the “Mac15,12” devices vary depending on the specific test case, ranging from 8GB to 24GB. Additionally, the test devices were operating on macOS 14.4 or 14.4.1.
Despite the excitement surrounding the leaked Geekbench test results and the high expectations from eager users, Apple has not shown any immediate plans to launch the M3 Mac mini. Reports suggest that the device will maintain a traditional design and may be officially released later this year, allowing for further anticipation to build up among Apple enthusiasts.
