Walther Trowal: A production line with CB 300 round vibrators

At MACH 2024, Walther Trowal will show its vibratory grinding machines for the surface processing of high-quality metal workpieces along the entire vibratory grinding process chain. The company is also presenting a centrifuge for the environmentally friendly treatment of process water.

Walther Trowal presents a TT series centrifugal system for small parts. In this two-batch machine, one batch is processed, for example rounded, smoothed or polished. At the same time, another batch is separated: the workpieces are separated from the grinding wheels. In this way, non-productive times are minimized, meaning that the system achieves a very high throughput while at the same time requiring little space.

The CB round vibrators also shown at the trade fair are particularly suitable for integration into linked production processes: the optionally available side input funnel and the exposure of the ramp before emptying make integration into automatic production processes easier.

Walther Trowal also presents the G 100 dryer, which also lightly polishes the workpieces. It can be easily combined with upstream mass grinding machines in both batch and continuous operation.

Walther Trowal implements complete system solutions for processing surfaces that integrate seamlessly into customers’ linked production processes. That’s why the company is also showing a centrifuge at MACH 2024 for processing process water, which recycles the process water created during vibratory grinding and returns it to a closed circuit.

Walther Trowal has been developing and producing process solutions for processing surfaces since 1931. Based on vibratory grinding technology – the term “Trowalizing” is derived from “Trommel Walther” – Walther Trowal has continuously expanded the range of products available. This resulted in a variety of systems and machines for vibratory grinding and blasting as well as for coating small mass-produced parts.

By inventing new processes such as drag grinding or processes for processing additively manufactured parts, the company has repeatedly demonstrated its high ability to innovate.

Walther Trowal implements complete system solutions that integrate seamlessly into customers’ linked production processes. This includes the entire process technology adapted to the specific requirements of the workpieces, in which machines and process equipment complement each other perfectly.

Since every workpiece and every production process places special demands on the process technology, the experienced specialists in the testing department work with the customers to develop the optimal process technology. The result: workpieces with surfaces that correspond exactly to the specifications – with short processing times and high reproducibility.

Walther Trowal is one of the few manufacturers who develop and manufacture both the machines and all the process materials for mass finishing technology themselves… on the one hand, the grinding bodies made of plastic or ceramic, and on the other hand, the compounds.

The product range also includes peripheral equipment for handling workpieces such as lifting and tilting devices, conveyor belts or roller conveyors, as well as dryers for vibratory grinding systems and systems for treating the process water.

With exchange programs for wear parts, in which, for example, work containers move in a constant cycle, Walther Trowal saves valuable resources and makes a contribution to sustainability in industrial production. The fast support and the worldwide repair and maintenance service ensure the high availability of the systems.

Walther Trowal supplies customers in a wide variety of industries around the world, such as the automotive and aircraft industries, medical technology and the wind energy industry.
