SEGA’s “Unicorn Overlord” Exceeds 500,000 Units in Global Sales
SEGA has announced that the new simulation RPG “Unicorn Overlord,” developed in collaboration with ATLUS and VANILLAWARE, has surpassed 500,000 units in global sales. To celebrate this milestone, the official release of the game includes a “media praise video.”
The game, also known as “King of Holy Beasts,” is an orthodox royal adventure story where players can meet friends and battle evil. VANILLAWARE’s unique and exquisite imagery and characters, combined with high-degree of freedom map exploration, create a brand-new simulated battles experience for players.
Drawing inspiration from classic simulation RPG masterpieces of the 1990s, “Unicorn Overlord” aims to deliver a nostalgic yet innovative gaming experience. The game features a unique combat system and elements that cater to modern gaming preferences, ensuring a fresh and engaging gameplay experience.
For those interested in trying out the game, a 5-hour free trial version of the prologue is available, with saved data that can be transferred to the official version upon purchase. “King of the Sacred Beasts” is currently available for purchase on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
With the success of “Unicorn Overlord,” SEGA, ATLUS, and VANILLAWARE continue to captivate gamers with their unique storytelling and gameplay mechanics.
