It’s no secret that Italy is a little behind in this regard, especially when it comes to the fixed network, fiber and so on. Paradoxically, our country is one of the most advanced when it comes to data networks and mobile connections and it is in this scenario that the new AX3000 router from TP-Link. In fact, this Mesh system exploits the 5G connection via SIM card to amplify the signal where necessary and transform the versatile data network into a stable wi-fi network. Too good to be true? Let’s find out in this review of the TP-Link Deco AX3000 router.

Our test of the Deco X50-5G AX3000

For this review we tested the TP-Link Deco AX3000 router for about 3 weeks during which we tested it in our home to surf the net, download files and play online. In all cases the router moves excellently by amplifying the power of the 5G signal and transforming it into a real Wi-Fi network. Clearly there is always one person who fuels everything 5G Sim card with a specific tariff plan of the operator (in our case TIM).

Many elements derive from the SIM card such as network coverage or the amount of GB available. In the case of a plan with limited Gigabytes, in fact, you will have to keep them in mind in case the opportunity arises to download large files, such as a video game. Keeping in mind the potential of the SIM card, you can rely on the Deco AX3000. Thanks to next-generation Wi-Fi 6 technologies, Deco X50-5G is designed to ensure broad Wi-Fi coverage and greater network capacity, for a Wi-Fi connection that can support all your devicesup to 150 connected simultaneously!

TP-Link Deco AX3000 router review in brief

The TP-Link Deco AX3000 router is the evolution of the “bar of soap” to the nth degree not very efficient that we brought a few years ago to the holiday home without Wi-Fi to give a semblance of stability to the weak data network. Today, with TP-Link and new connectivity technologies, we can see a giant step forward in truly getting the most out of our 5G network.

All of this obviously has a cost and also an important one of €449. This is certainly an important investment designed especially for professionals or for those who work from home and constantly need a stable internet connection. Obviously the choice of the best 5G mesh router system will depend on each person’s specific needs and the possibilities offered by their 5G network as well as, not to be underestimated, the network coverage of their area.
