How is the design?
The Poco X6 offers an eye-catching design with a glossy back and plastic frame. However, the back is susceptible to fingerprints and does not appear to be of very high quality. The three prominently placed camera lenses give the smartphone a striking aesthetic. Despite its generous dimensions of 163.5 × 76.3 × 8.9 mm, the device fits comfortably in the hand and offers a certain level of protection against splash water thanks to its IP54 certification.
How good is the display?

How good is the camera?
The Poco X6 comes with a triple camera. The main lens offers 64 megapixels and even optical stabilization (OIS), which combines four pixels into one using pixel binning as standard, plus an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and a superfluous 2 megapixel macro lens.
During the day, the photos taken with the main camera are impressive. Photos are sharp and image details are extensive. Video looks pretty good with the Poco X6 thanks to OIS. 4K clips are possible at up to 30 FPS, Full HD at 60 FPS. The wide-angle lens has a noticeable drop in color and quality compared to the main lens and is only moderately sharp. The image quality of the macro lens is amazing. The selfie camera knows how to please with sharp shots – of course only during the day. However, there are small errors in the bokeh around the profile in portrait mode.

What features does the Poco X6 offer?
The Poco The drive is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which offers more than solid performance for the price range, as shown by the reasonable results in the PCmark Work 3.0 (11,500 points) and 3Dmark Wild Life (3000 points) benchmarks. How long are software updates available?
After activation, our test device ran MIUI 14 based on Android 13 with a current security patch. An update to Android 14 with the new Hyper OS user interface should follow shortly – as is already used on the Poco X6 Pro (test report). According to Xiaomi, security patches should be available for around four years, and there is also hope for three Android updates – up to version 16.
The cell phone is delivered with some bloatware, such as Xiaomi apps for calendars, browsers, an app store as well as Linkedin, Facebook, Spotify, Netflix, Aliexpress and Opera. Around 45 GB are occupied – but this is less important given the generous amount of memory.
How long does the battery last?
The battery is quite generous at 5100 mAh. In the PCmark battery test, the Poco X6 achieved a simulated runtime of around 11 hours. That’s okay, but given the large battery it’s not overly powerful and is a little above the midfield in our tests. The Poco X6 gets through the day without any problems. Thanks to 67 watts, it can also be charged very quickly: after 15 minutes it is half full, and you can go from 20 to 100 percent in just under 40 minutes.

The main camera with 64 megapixels and the optical image stabilization are convincing, at least during the day. The camera weakens in the dark and the plastic housing doesn’t appear to be of very high quality.
