The Antioquia team was very cautious throughout the match, seeking to keep a clean sheet in their goal. and try to surprise to win the match with a quick counterattack exit.

The visiting team made a good presentation, taking the ball away for much of the first half, but without the necessary depth to hurt the Colombian team. The Brazilians had two clear options in the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, the game was more even with a more purposeful Águilas, but without much presence in the last quarter of the field. The Antioqueños tried to do damage by opening the field on the sides and throwing crosses into the area.

The clearest action from the Rionegro cast came through this medium, with a shot from the right lane and a header from the Argentine Agustín Vuletichwho had good power, but caught the Bragantino goalkeeper well.

The tie in the city of Medellín left the closing open and now Águilas Doradas will have to seek qualification in the second leg which will take place on February 27 at the Nabi Abi Chedid stadium.
