- An international soccer great will visit different campuses of the César Vallejo University nationwide.
- Stars from the Real Madrid Football Club will share their testimonies and experiences in the Leader Academy course, which will take place in April.
With the purpose of continuing to promote sports, knowledge and the academic development of young Peruvians, the César Vallejo University (UCV) signed a strategic alliance with the Real Madrid Foundation of Spain, where the UCV will be the exclusive sponsor of said entity, which will develop various training activities for the benefit of the Vallejo community.
In this sense, the Real Madrid Foundation will assign each year the visit of its ambassadors to the different campuses that our educational institution has nationwide. The signed agreement will be valid until April 30, 2027.
The visit of a Spanish football great
Within the framework of this agreement, the former player of the Real Madrid Football ClubFernando Morientes, will visit different campuses of the César Vallejo University to participate in conferences, meetings with students, lunches with authorities and other integration activities.
On the morning of February 26, the former Spanish national team player will visit the Foundation’s project located in Huachipa. In the afternoon, the delegation of said institution, together with UCV authorities, will participate in an exquisite lunch where they will be able to enjoy typical Peruvian dishes. On February 27, the Foundation’s ambassadors will visit the UCV campus in the city of Piura.
On the morning of February 28, in Lima, a press conference will be held at the Los Delfines Hotel, where Fernando Morientes will be accompanied by Gema Ortega, Director of Training at the Real Madrid Foundation, and UCV authorities. That same day, at the UCV Los Olivos campus, there will be a meeting with students, an autograph signing and a meeting with parents of the university students.
In the following days (February 29 and March 1), the ambassadors of the Spanish organization will also have the opportunity to travel to the cities of Chiclayo and Trujillo to visit their respective campuses and participate in various activities.
Madrid stars share their experiences
As part of the commitment to training in values, through its program Sport Values Academythe Real Madrid Foundation will organize the Leader Academy course in April, through which recognized legends of the Real Madrid Football Club will share their interesting testimonies and successful experiences with UCV students.
The general objectives of this course are to strengthen and deepen the different socio-emotional skills as a strategic element within leadership skills and to offer theoretical-practical tools for the development of leadership skills within a socio-educational context.
