After Wileidy Monsalve accused Álvaro Rod of having been unfaithful to him on many occasions, the salsa singer decided to speak out on the matter. The artist came to the radio program ‘Power Sensuales’, hosted by Karla Tarazona and Luigi Carbajal, to tell the truth about him.

“We ended the relationship more than a month ago and she knows it perfectly. This could have been talked about in four walls. I know what she has been through and she knows what she has been through,” said Álvaro Rod, who indicated that he was quite saddened by the situation.

“She will have her reasons why she decided to make all this public, I am saddened, disappointed and outraged… I am very sorry to be involved in something like this, I do not want to speak badly of her, there is nothing to talk about, everyone is responsible for their actions . Out of respect for her, I am not going to tell details. It will remain in her conscience why she said it,” said the singer, who pointed out that there are two versions but only one truth.

Álvaro Rod did not tolerate being compared to Christian Domínguez and being called unfaithful. “It doesn’t seem fair to me, I feel like I don’t deserve this,” he said.

Asked by Karla Tarazona if he believes that he was immersed in a toxic relationship and should have ended it definitively at the first opportunity, the singer indicated yes.

“I learn from my mistakes, of course, I think that is more than obvious. “I am not a perfect person, I can have mistakes and if I have them I will accept them,” said the salsero.

Regarding the accusations of infidelity of his ex-partner Wileidy Monsalve, Álvaro Rod swore and perjured his innocence. “There is no infidelity in any way, she knows it perfectly, we both know it. I’m not going to say details, all I have left is, what she said is already done, I continue with my career, and I go out to tell my truth, in the end the truth comes to light,” he indicated.

At another time, he revealed that he would have no problem sitting in front of Magaly Medina to defend himself, since his intention is to continue his career cleanly.

“Probably (I would sit down), my team is already looking at that if it sees fit. I have no problem sitting down and giving my version. In the end there is only one truth, there may be two versions, but there is only one truth, if I have to defend myself I will do it because my career is there,” he said in the radio program that is broadcast from 6 to 9 in the morning.

The young woman stressed that the salsero had not only been unfaithful to her with one person, but with several of her, which caused her deep indignation.
