The decision of the United States Congress to give the green light to a military aid package for Ukraine amounting to 61 billion dollars is the result of two concomitant and competing circumstances: the observation that the chances of electoral victory of Donald Trump they are in decline and will decline even more due to the growing unsustainability of his candidacy; the determination of Mike Johnsonspeaker of Congress and expression of the Republican Party (Trump’s party, ed.) in weaving the web that led to the creation of a majority in favor of aid, precisely in contrast with Donald Trump’s will.

But what will change above all is morale of the fighters who seemed to have to resign themselves to the sacrifice and consider a general collapse possible. With these military supplies, the Ukrainians do not receive the means to win the war, but, according to the will of the United States, they will be in a position to prevent a Russian victory, confronting Putin with a continuation of the conflict and the risks that this will entail.
In short, if there is a glimmer of hope to put an end to the conflict It is this newfound Ukrainian strength that will deny the Russians victory by confronting them with the need to be realistic. Especially on one point: the Kremlin’s main demand is the neutralization of Ukraine.
Transform it into a freely available territory of Moscow ready to end up like the Sudetenland.
This prospect is currently unattainable due to the determined Ukrainian resistance and the American commitment to prevent its realization.
Once again peace it does not depend on Kiev or Washington. It depends solely and exclusively on the bloodthirsty owner of the Kremlin.
