On her own Facebook page, Anne Holt wrote that it is about a new Hanne Wilhelmsen series. After a while, however, the post was removed, but according to VG it read:
“Not Norwegian, this time, which is a bit cool, and with a stylish, foreign protagonist who still has his Norwegian name Hanne Wilhelmsen.”
VG writes in its article that it is the Swedish “Love and Anarchy” star Ida Engvoll (38) who will play police officer Hanne Wilhelmson – the police investigator the public first met in the book “Blind Gudinne”, which was published in 1993.
Couldn’t say anything
Anne Holt has close connections to Larvik, and much of the text in the crime books of the successful author was written here in the city.
In 2018, Anne Holt told Østlands-Posten that she and Tine Kjær had taken over the villa from the grandparents of the author and the former Minister of Justice (1996–1997).

In connection with the new TV series, Østlands-Posten tried to get a comment from Anne Holt. In an SMS, she apologizes that she is not allowed to say anything for the time being.
Premiere i 2025
VG writes that the new TV series is a major Amazon Prime investment. They also convey that the well-known Norwegian actor, Pål Sverre Hagen (43), has been given a major role in the production.
According to VG, the plan is for the new series to premiere on Amazon Prime Video during 2025.
