Klaus Otto Nagorsnik, one of the “hunters” from the ARD quiz show “Gefragt – Gejagt”, died unexpectedly, according to the ARD program directorate. The broadcaster announced on Wednesday that he was 68 years old. This news fills the “Gefragt – GeJagt” family with great horror and deep sadness. Since 2014 he has been one of the “hunters” on “Gefragt – Gejagt”, which was then still on NDR television. In the quiz show, a team of four candidates competes against a proven quiz expert – the “hunter”.

“Our librarian helped shape “Gefragt – Jagd” for many years. We owe him countless exciting and entertaining evenings. The audience loved him,” ARD Vorabend coordinator Frank Beckmann is quoted as saying. Moderator Alexander Bommes explained in the message: “With Klaus Otto Nagorsnik we are losing a role model of authenticity, education and joy of life. I admired him and really enjoyed playing and laughing with him. The hunt will continue for him too.”
Great passion for quizzes
The pre-produced episodes of the new season of “Gefragt – Gejagt” with Nagorsnik will be shown on Das Erste from May 13th in memory of the Münsterland native, as the ARD program management announced.
Nagorsnik worked as a librarian in the Münster city library until his retirement. As a passionate quiz player, he has won numerous titles in quiz championships.
