At least 30 people are death in Afghanistan due to flooding from heavy monsoon rains. The government said 26 people died in Jalrez district in the east of the country, while another four in the capital Kabul; there are also at least 70 wounded and 40 people missing. Flooding from the monsoon kills dozens of people every year in Afghanistan, often in the collapse of weak buildings.
