LONDON – Australia does a snub to Carlo III, refusing to light the sails of the famous Opera House in Sydney Bay in his honour. The magnificent building is always festively lit for major national events and it was also on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022: but the government of New South Wales, the state in which the city is located, this time has put the veto.
