Berlin rapper and actor Pablo Grant dies at the age of 26

The rapper and actor Pablo Grant has died at the age of 26, the rap collective BHZ announced on Sunday. It was only at the end of last week that his tour was canceled spontaneously and without replacement for the time being.

The Berlin musician and actor Pablo Grant is dead. He died at the age of 26. Grant was a member of the well-known Schöneberg rap collective BHZ, under his stage name Dead Dawg. As BHZ announced on Sunday, Grant died on February 6th as a result of a thrombosis.

The statement reads: “The family and friends of the deceased are heartbroken and ask that until further notice please respect privacy and refrain from contact during this difficult time. We would like to thank all the fans who have accompanied and supported Pablo’s artistic path over the years. “

At the end of last week, BHZ spontaneously and without replacement canceled its tour, which was supposed to start this week in Leipzig and end in Berlin at the beginning of March. This was justified by “illness-related” reasons. As is now known, Grant had already died by then. The crew has been making music together since 2016 and is highly regarded in the German hip-hop scene. Like all BHZ members, Grant aka Dead Dawg also released solo albums.

In the Instagram post that BHZ published about his death, numerous musicians such as the band KIZ, Finch or arrest warrant and the Hertha BSC football club expressed their condolences. Ski Aggu wrote: “Rest in peace Pablo!! You made an impact. You touched so many people. Legend forever.”
